VAK
BOB made use of scientific research done years ago for methods of learning. It is well know now that a child can learn fast when there are right proportion of Visual content, by hearing and by touching. We created our syllabus based on VAK methodology to obtain the best performance of your child. This is unique and innovative technique combined with abacus & math to develop the brain.
Some of us learn by seeing (Visually), some by hearing (Auditory) and some by touching and feeling (Kinesthetic). The VAK concept, theories and methods (initially also referred to as VAKT, for Visualization, Auditory-Kinesthetic-Tactile) were first developed by psychologists and teaching cialists such as Fernald, Keller, Orton, Gillingham, Stillman and Montessori, beginning in the 1920's. The early VAK specialists recognized that people learn in different ways: as a very simple example, a child who could not easily learn words and letters by reading (visually) might for instance learn more easily by tracing letter shapes with their finger (kinesthetic). The VAK theory is a favorite of the accelerated learning community, and continues to feature - although not nearly as strongly as it should do - in the teaching and education of young people.
The VAK model provides a different perspective for understanding and explaining a person's preferred or dominant thinking and learning style, and strengths. It has been proposed that teachers should assess the learning styles of their students and adapt their classroom methods to best fit each student's learning style. The Skill Development Program followed by BrainOBrain is based on the use of all three learning styles to gain optimum learning and developing the coordination between left and right brain.
